Nokia N9 Show Up in Italy

Although the Nokia N9 has not made its debut in the smartphone arena a look at the manufacturers Italian website show that the 3.9-inch AMOLED display device which is the first of its kind to run on MeeGo platform is available for sale.

The device  is expected to launch in a number of markets all over the world but with Italy  missing  in the initial list  of markets where the device was expected to launch it seems even other markets such as the US may also be included in the list of nations which will get a first feel of the device.

The only complication surrounding the release of the Nokia N9 in the US is the absence of carriers who can partner with the company to sell the device here. The Nokia N9 is expected in the market sometime later this year and it’s a fantastic handset sporting a number of features that will make users want to lay their hands on the device. Some of these include a 1GHz TI OMAP3630 CPU, an 8-megapixel camera, and NFC support.

If the Nokia N9 manufacturers go ahead and get a carrier in the US to help them launch the device here, then it will be a big step towards making the presence of the company be felt in the US  after being absent in the US for sometime now.

The only benefit of a 4 gb internal is that you need to buy a memory stick for that Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T2 – and the choice of those 3 colors. The draw back is that you use a memory card directly, and you can only transfer images from the camera to a memory card when the camera is "full." I would also assume that if you drop that camera and it breaks, you would loose the images you have taken from internal memory. Where as you still have a better chance of retreiving your images from a card. The T200 is about the same prize but has a larger screen and zoom – 3.5 vs 2.7, and 3x vs 5x. I think external memory card are better, as I have external hard drive for my computer, in saving files/images. Something to think about, digital camera are more delicate than regular film camera when dropped or bumped. You might consider accidental insurance with it, not the extended warranty. There are places online where you can get inexpensice memory stick for Sony.
I myself would prefer, and had bought, Panasonic Lumix; I do also have a Sony DSC W200 (has HD and 12.1 MP) about the same price when I bought it last year but much less now.
